Old Mutual opens one-stop-shop in Mutare – Press release

HARARE, Old Mutual, one of Zimbabwe’s largest integrated financial services companies has opened a new one-stop-shop branch offering their mainfinancial and banking services under their Greenzone branded shop concept as well as the refurbished CABS Branch.
Commenting on the opening of the new branch, Jonas Mushosho, Old Mutual Zimbabwe Group CEO and Old Mutual Rest of Africa CEO, said, “The opening of our Mutare Greenzone branch marks our continued commitment to our customers, Zimbabwe and its vibrant people.
“Customer centricity isn’t just a buzz phrase for us at Old Mutual, it is a philosophy that drives our business and will ensure our long term viability along with improved customer experiences,” explained Mushosho.
The company which recently refreshed its brand identity said research had proven that customers preferred to have all their financial services under one roof. The Old Mutual Greenzones offer life assurance, short term insurance, investment and CABS banking services amongst other products.
Mushosho added, “The Greenzone concept takes advantage of Old Mutual’s wide range of integrated financial services offerings to provide a unique and convenient client centered experience under one roof.
“Our use of Greenzones help us as Old Mutual to consolidate the sum total of our otherwise individual financial business unit strengths to offer an integrated customer service center of excellence,” clarified the company’s CEO.
During their 2018 half year analyst briefing, Old Mutual announced an operating profit of $34.3 million representing a growth of 27% for the first half of 2018.
