Zimnat launches innovative ideas for new generation products programme 

HARARE, Insurance and financial services company Zimnat is running an innovation accelerator programme which challenges developers, local hubs and universities to develop innovative ideas that will enable it to develop products suited to the 21st Century and beyond.
The programme will be enhanced through a competition petition for innovative solutions to challenges in specific areas of its business.
Those who propose the 10 best solutions will be invited to work with Zimnat, with the possibility of joining the group’s business value chain.
The ideas are being sought from six areas which include usage based insurance and insurance products for women, is unit trust investments for individuals that makes investing online easy and the third is a
customer retention programme.
The fourth area is digital or online products geared for the Millennial and Generation Z generations that are lifestyle relevant, basically the young and upcoming consumers.
The last category is “any other solutions that play in the insurance and technology space”.
Zimnat CEO Mustafa Sachak said the firm wanted to continue with We want to continue to build businesses that will last for the next century.
