HARARE, On the last day of trading for February, most insurers missed in action on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange (ZSE) with only Old Mutual being the sole trader for the listed insurance firms.
OM gained 0.056 c to close at 5.31c in a session that was characterized by limited activity across all counters.
Other insurers, Fidelity, FMHL, Nicozdiamond and ZHL stayed at their previous prices with no activity.
Turnover was at $1.2million coming off from $8 mln yesterday with notable trade values in Delta, Econet and Seedco.
Zimplow added $0.0100 to end at $0.1000 while Econet was $0.0068 stronger at $0.6873. Delta rose by $0.0037 to $1.5800 whilst Ariston was $0.0019 higher at $0.0114.
Two counters lost ground as Padenga eased $0.0125 to close at $0.4375 and Seedco inched down by $0.0006 to end at $1.9500.
The All Share Index added a marginal 0.18 points on the back of a 0.62 points gain in the Industrial Index. The Top Ten Index edged 0.17 points while the Mining Index was flat at previous levels.

Eco Sure is a funeral assurance cover that replaced the defunct Eco Life and has over 1 million subscribers spurred by the burial society product, which is transforming communities.
According to Ecosure, 5km category is Fun run, 10 km, 21km – No under 16 years
42km – No under 18 years.
Eco Sure service offers affordable funeral cover which is widely accessible as registration is through mobile phones. For as little as 50c premium per month, one can get cover under the Eco SureLite package which will translate to a payout of $500.
The Eco Sure basic package will attract a premium of $1 with the beneficiary receiving $1000, and Eco Sure standard package will attract a premium of $2, with a payout of $2000 while the Eco Sure Premium Cover will attract a premium of $5 per month with a payout sum of $5000.
Eco Sure offers two pay out options in the event of death, either through nominating a relative who will receive the money in their EcoCash account or through a chosen service provider.
The firm has partnered over 15 service providers which includes big players in the industry such as Nuffield, Doves, Fidelity and the top three service providers.
