HARARE, Fidelity Life Assurance of Zimbabwe has received a new certification as part of its bid for improved service delivery.

The company has migrated to ISO 9001:2015, a departure from the ISO 9001:2008 standards that the company was formerly guided by.

Fidelity Life chief executive officer, Reuben Java said the migration to improved management tools towards consistent customer satisfaction is a clear testimony of the company’s commitment to its meeting customer needs.

“The certification is a clear testament of hard work and commitment to quality of the services we provide and to enhance customer experience,” he said.

Java said adherence to standards has been key to the company’s profitability, business growth and customer retention.

“The quality management system ensures that there is consistency on how we serve our customers.

The system is self auditing and self correcting. It is through these audits that we are able to demonstrate conformance to all applicable requirements and these include legal, customer and ISO 9001 requirements,” he said.

Meanwhile, Fidelity Life has also extended its footprint to the region and is currently operating in Malawi.

“Recently, footprints have been taken to South Africa through its FLIMAS business unit making health access possible for Zimbabweans living in South Africa,” Java said.
