CABS celebrates 75 year milestone

CABS tonight celebrated 75 years of existence in Zimbabwe where it has displayed unwavering commitments to the country, economy and communities.It is a story of resilience.

“Thank you for your support and years to the next 75 years of helping you realize your dreams,” Managing Director Mehluli Mpofu told delegates at the anniversary celebrations.

Among the Banks recent projects was the development of 2 700 houses in Budiriro in Harare.
“We also developed and serviced 1 030 stands in Bulawayo.Today our offering extends to all facets of the economy,” he said.
In agriculture, Mpofu said CABS has funded the production of tobacco, macadamia nuts, bananas, strawberries, blueberries and apples.
“We have also supported grain production, dairy, mining, retail and distribution” said Mpofu.
He said presently the Bank has 18 lines of credit from the Afreximbank, European Investment Bank and the African Development Bank.
“We greatly appreciate he trust these institutions continue to place on us,” he said.
Mpofu said the 75 year milestone would have not been possible without commitment of staff.
