HARARE, FBC Insurance says the SSP Pure Insurance’s digital platform has not yet been fully operationalized, but once completes, will have a significant impact on service delivery to customers and stakeholders across the group.

The company earlier in the year partnered SSP Pure Insurance, a global provider of technology systems and solutions across the entire insurance industry, using expertise to enable customers to transform their business and increase their profitability.

“The SSP Pure Insurance’s digital platform has not yet been fully operationalized, but once completes, will have a significant impact on our service delivery to customers and stakeholders across the group.

“As the digital transformation takes place across FBCH, the system will have synergistic advantages which will allow us to have a 360 degree look at the customer,” said Head, Group Marketing Priscilla Sadomba in an interview.

She added that customers will actually be able to be served in real time which is in line with global trends.

FBC has in the recent past engaged in massive initiatives aimed at growing its insurance business. The Group’s insurance units are FBC Reinsurance Limited and Eagle Insurance Company Limited. Eagle Insurance Company Limited has been re-branded to FBC Insurance.

Another key focus for FBC Insurance has been diversification into the growing microinsurance market. With an insurance penetration rate of just 3.6% in Zimbabwe, there are significant opportunities for FBC Insurance to provide affordable products that match the needs of the currently excluded population.

SSP Pure Insurance enables FBC Insurance to simplify the product design and development process, so it can respond more agilely to these market conditions.
